The Southern Nevada Forum was developed in 2013 by Southern Nevada legislators, the Vegas Chamber, the City of Las Vegas and several other stakeholders. The forum’s purpose then and now is to collect ideas that support the priorities of Southern Nevadans, with the intention of those ideas becoming bills in the upcoming legislative session.
Through the forum, Nevadans get to engage in the legislative process and share their perspective on the challenges facing the state.
The Southern Nevada Forum meets every other year and helps to determine what regional issues will be prioritized during the upcoming legislative session. The forum is broken down into the following four committees:
Economic Development, Workforce & Good Governance
Education (K-12 & Higher Education)
Healthcare
Transportation & Infrastructure
If you’d like to participate in a specific committee, please fill out the interest form HERE.
The 2026 Southern Nevada Forum will hold its first meeting on February 23rd. Check in will run from 8 a.m. to 8:30, and the program will run from 8:30 to 9:30. The meetings will run monthly until June. Committee meetings will consist of presentations and discussion on the topics most important to residents in Southern Nevada.
