Share your milestone with Southern Nevada’s startup and technology community. Community Wire is Tech.Vegas’s press release program. Every approved release is published on the Tech.Vegas blog and included in the Tech.Vegas email newsletter.
Step 1: Make Sure It’s a Press Release
Press releases announce real, verifiable milestones with a Southern Nevada connection:
- Funding rounds, grants, and acquisitions
- Product launches: a product customers can use today
- Key hires, promotions, and leadership changes
- Partnerships and contracts
- Office openings and expansions
- Cohort and demo day announcements by the accelerator or program itself
- Awards and recognitions
Not news? Promotions, offers, and company profiles belong in a Business Spotlight. Events go on the event calendar.
Step 2: Create Your Free Tech.Vegas Account
Everyone who submits needs a free Tech.Vegas account. Join Tech.Vegas free, or log in if you already have an account. Free membership also lets you list events and get the newsletter.
Step 3: Choose Your Path
| You are | Price | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| An Ecosystem Partner: university, nonprofit, professional association, accelerator or community group, or government entity | Free, unlimited | Apply for Ecosystem Partner membership. Once approved, press releases check out at $0. |
| A qualifying Nevada startup that sells its own product, not services (startup or service provider?) | 2 free per year | Apply for Local Startup membership. Once approved, we email you two codes for free releases. |
| Everyone else, including service providers and out-of-state companies | $199 | Purchase a press release |
Membership applications are reviewed within 5 business days. Add the Social Upgrade (+$100) at checkout for a short-form video reel posted to every Tech.Vegas social media channel. Paid press releases are labeled “Paid release.”
Step 4: Check Out
While logged in, add the press release to your cart and check out: approved partners pay $0, approved startups enter their code, and everyone else pays $199. Then return to this page and submit your release below.
Step 5: Submit Your Release
Use this form after checkout. It is also where Business Spotlight customers send their details and images. Before you submit, make sure your release meets these standards (full details in our Content Policy):
- Southern Nevada connection: a local company, team, office, customer, or program. Releases from companies with no Nevada footprint are declined.
- News, not promotion: “Henderson startup launches AI scheduling platform for clinics,” not “Best-in-class IT services at unbeatable prices — call today!”
- Tone and accuracy: third person, no hype words unless quoted, plain English, verifiable facts, quotes from real named people, and a named media contact. You must own the content or be authorized to distribute it. Generic or unedited AI-generated copy is returned for revision.
- Format: a headline under 100 characters naming the subject of the news; 400–800 words; at least one landscape image (1200×628 minimum) you have rights to use; one relevant link maximum.
- Not accepted: speculative token or NFT promotions, MLM and get-rich-quick schemes, online gambling, adult content, political attack content, and anything misleading or defamatory.
Step 6: Review and Publication
Our editors review every release within 2 business days. Approved releases are published on the Tech.Vegas blog and included in the next email newsletter, and you receive a link to share. If you purchased the Social Upgrade, your video reel follows. If your release is promotional rather than news, we’ll offer to publish it as a Business Spotlight at no additional cost. If we decline a paid release, you receive a full refund. Tech.Vegas retains full editorial control, including headlines and edits for clarity.
