DESCRIPTION:Join our Discord by clicking here – https://discord.gg/RGFGV8gKxB \nOur monthly Vegas Programmers users’ group meets at 6pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Corporate Coworking. All levels of experience are welcome. We love to share knowledge and talk about the latest in programming\, AI\, web dev\, mobile app development\, and more. \nEvery month we have a technical talk presented by members of the group. If you have a talk you’d like to share\, email me Josh@RemoteDevForce.com \nMeetup Topic \nLearn about the hardware and software of computer clustering.\nIT is a team sport in every way. Hardware like CPU\, GPU\, RAM and storage have to work together with the people that\ncreate and maintain software and websites. Just like sports everyone in tech is rooting for their home team\, be it an\nOS\, programming language\, or cloud provider.\nIn today’s world that includes a lot of you using cloud computers\, containers\, VMs and server-less applications\, but do\nyou know how those providers provide those services?\nThe cloud is nothing but a cluster of computers offered by a provider to you to run your stuff. In this meetup we will\nlearn some of the underlying technology and principals of how they do that including information on large installation\nsystem administration (clustering)\, load balancing\, distributed storage\, and redundant networking.\nChad Columbus\, a software developer and system administrator with over 30 years of experience\, will lead this\ninteractive session. This is a conversation not a lecture\, think of it as a dodge ball game and come at him with your\nbest questions! More questions = more fun! \nRSVP now as seating is limited. \nWe upload talks to our YouTube channel a few days after the meetup. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVAynQyhWbBoc-pBhOuSTrg \nWe are looking for sponsors\, speakers\, freelance developers\, and businesses looking to hire talent. Contact me at Josh@RemoteDevForce.com for more information. \nThanks for joining our group!\n-Joshua Copeland\nCTO RemoteDevForce.com \n@OGProgrammer \n~~~SPONSORS~~~\nWe are always looking for sponsors such as recruiters\, SaSS products\, and anything programming adjacent. Please contact Josh@RemoteDevForce.com for details. \nCorporateCowork.com – a co-working community\nChoose from either of the free 1 time options below:\nDay pass: \n\nIncludes 9am-5pm access of our coworking office\nDesk with wide screen monitor\nCold brew tap and micro brew coffee\nPrivacy booths\nCreative common areas and more\n\nEvent Space: \n\nPick one of our 4 event spaces options from a training room to an event space with a bar or kitchen.\n\nContact Tony at tkerrnaja@corporatecowork.com for more information. \nJetBrains – They make the best IDEs in the business.\nWe give out a free 1 year JetBrains license at every meetup.

SUMMARY:Swift Server Fundamentals
DESCRIPTION:December 3rd ~ Nick Shook from  presents: Swift Server Fundamentals \nDid you know you could write full-stack apps only using Swift? In this presentation\, learn about how you can build back-ends using Swift. We’ll go over some popular libraries and explain why Swift’s safe-by-design\, concurrency\, and ubiquity across Mac\, Linux\, and Windows\, platforms make it a great choice for developers irrespective of the problems they’re solving. \nWe changed the dates for this month to align with AWS re:Invent – if you are in town for this and want to speak – email me at Josh@RemoteDevForce.com \nOne more talk TBD \nJoin our Discord by clicking here – https://discord.gg/RGFGV8gKxB \nOur monthly Vegas Programmers users’ group meets at 6pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Corporate Coworking.
