Many apps do a poor job of handling low memory and low disk space conditions; they just crash. I will present a couple of open source tools that can be used to aid in the debugging and confirming your handling of these conditions in your apps.

**Space Eater:** Used to eat of disk space on your device so you can verify how your app handles scenarios where you are trying to write files but there is no more space available

**Memory Hog:** Used to fill memory so your app has little left for its own usage so you can reproduce those annoying OOM crashes that always seem near impossible to reproduce locally.
