His contributions to transportation in Nevada were recognized by a gubernatorial proclamation designating January 31\, 2007 as “Professor Shashi Nambisan Day.” He is also a frequent research colleague with the Center for Business and Economic Research.\n\n\n\nAndrew KjellmanSenior Director\, Metropolitan Planning OrganizationRegional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTCSNV)Andrew Kjellman oversees federal transportation funding and leads regional planning initiatives for the RTC\, guiding the agency’s response to Southern Nevada’s population and visitor growth. His work focuses on improving roads and expanding transportation options to support the region’s continued development. Kjellman began his career in Washington state and joined the RTC in 2011\, rising through the organization to his current role as Senior Director.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAntonio CastelanDirector of Public Affairs\, Brightline WestAntonio Castelan leads public relations and community engagement for Brightline West\, the high-speed rail project connecting Las Vegas to Southern California.
