DESCRIPTION:The Association of Professional Piercers Conference and Exposition is the annual gathering of the APP\, an international non-profit dedicated to disseminating health and safety information about body piercing\, held at Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas Strip. For a full week\, hundreds of professionals from around the world come together to learn\, share information\, socialize and explore new jewelry designs. The conference offers an extensive education program covering piercing technique\, studio business practices and health and safety\, with dozens of hours of courses taught by some of the most experienced piercers in the industry. It is open to professional and apprentice piercers\, studio owners\, jewelry specialists\, front-counter staff and health inspectors\, with no APP membership required to attend. An accompanying exposition showcases jewelry\, tools and supplies from leading manufacturers and vendors. With its strong emphasis on bloodborne pathogen safety\, sterilization standards and continuing education\, the APP Conference plays a central role in advancing professional standards across the body piercing community.
